July 7th

This is so much harder than I thought.  I worked out on the wii last night and it told me that I gained 2 lbs!!!  I know what you're thinking:  Don't worry about the scale, pay attention to how your clothes fit.  Nothing!!  No difference!!  It has been almost a month! 

The wii did make my calves hurt though.  I sweat a lot doing zumba but I am so clumsy that I don't know that I am getting a quality work out.  The wii, I can customize and it is a lower impact workout.  I think I will still keep alternating them.  I have started going for longer workouts. 

Today I tried to go without sugar and white carbs-breads, pastas and stuff like that.  Can you say FAIL!??  I drank my coffe this morning with half the sugar, had oatmeal for breakfast, then blew it by having a sandwich for lunch! Had steamed potatoes and green beans for supper.  I will try it again tomorrow.  Hopefully I will do better!

I did do an hour workout.  I will not get one tomorrow.  I go right from work to the fairgrounds to work the beer garden.  It is a fundraiser for the youngest's dance team.  I will have a whole bunch of  very busy days coming up.  Hopefully on those days I can count standing on my feet for 6 hours a workout. 

I still think portion control and water intake are my hurdles right now.  Gotta keep working on it!
