So, this morning the car started and I thought Woo Hoo!!! I’m going to go get my free medium coffee from Caribou to treat myself. I got to the drive thru at Caribou and was behind a white truck with National Guard plates. Why I notice stuff like that, I don’t know. I give the girl my perks number and my order and I pull forward. When I got to the window, she let me know that the guy in the white truck had attempted to buy my coffee. So sweet! He was unable to purchase my free coffee for me, but brightened my day anyhow! Actions DO speak louder than words.
I have been talking to my daughter who is turning out to quite possibly enjoy blogging. That makes me incredibly happy since I think she is hysterical! Pop her up and give her a read. I desperately wish I could write like her. She is inspiring me to write more and about topics not completely related to being sick. In other words, this could turn into quite the rambling blog.
Otherwise, I am feeling good, finally. No problems so far. My scars are incredibly itchy right now. I am not sure why. Could be winter, could be just the way it is going to be. So I lotion.
I am working on having my youngest write out the text for my tummy tattoo. Very excited!! I have different pictures of my belly along the way. Maybe after the tattoo, I will post them. They are kind of graphic and gross, so I will have to contemplate it.
Random topic!! Have you ever heard of a ghost tour? I was talking to a friend who travels often and always looks up ghost tours on Google for whichever city she is headed to. They are little historical tours through different areas of the city. St. Paul Minneapolis, MN has them (http://www.realghosttours.com/) and gangster tours, Nashville , Pittsburg, and Mystic, CT; where Erin lives. I am going to try that one out to see what it is all about. Google it. You might have one in your own town that you never knew about! Geek status: Achieved!
