I suppose I can stop numbering the days now. That's getting kind of old. It is Sunday night. I steam cleaned the living room on Sat morning and then we headed for the lake. Ate pretty good. Yes, I had chips. Hard not to at the lake. Had one piece of lasagna, one garlic bread and today a sandwich and 2 slices of pizza. Overall, not too bad.
I have been reading up on the chemicals in our foods. I can't believe all the crap we eat that we think is normal. Guess what?! If you can't pronounce it, you probably shouldn't eat it. My goals for this coming week are:
Drink more water
Read more labels

Hi Sue - I have really changed what I eat. It has taken 2 months, but I have lost 30 pounds. I don't eat any boxed type foods. It is almost like a carb diet, except I am eating fruit. Example of my dinner the other night I had cheesy broccoli and a steak and for dessert a bowl of fruit (strawberry, watermelon and Cantalope) no more ice cream, or candy and no bread or pasta and minimal potatoes. I do get a treat of dark chocolate now and then. I might get a serving of potatoes once a week. When I make spagetti and meatballs for the family, I have 3-4 meatballs and a big salad...no noodles or garlic bread. This seems to be working for me. I really feel good! Good luck, you can do it!
