I sure wish good intentions would get me farther!
I had a wonderful plate of home made fettucini on Fri before heading to the lake. I drove to WI Sat morning feeling pretty good. Coffee in me and some water. Got there and it all went to hell. Mom and Collene met me in the parking lot and we went to Applebee's. I had a salad and a drink. The drink probably had 10 times the calories of the salad! Mom wanted Arby's for supper and I tried to save her money since she insisted that she buy. I got a chicken sandwich off the dollar menu--deef fried! Ugh! I paid for that the next morning--bad choice. Then we had to go to Collene's house because she made cupcakes. I had one! OMG! Delish!! By the next morning I was already feeling icky. I ended up downing a box of Hot Tamale candies. My traditional road trip food. Got to the lake and had a sandwich and potato salad and followed that up with a late evening pizza for supper.
So, that being said, I started off my day with a lo-cal (non-fructose sweetened) Monster and a granola thin. Had rice with veggies for lunch and will NOT have leftover pizza for supper! I have places to be every night this week and am concerned that I won't have much time to exercise. I really want to keep up with that. Also thinking it might be time to leash train Brian, my puggle.
I don't know if I am just getting old or if my body is trying to adapt to the change in lifestyle but I ache everywhere. I have a shoulder that hurts, my real hip hurts like the other one used to before I had it replaced and I have a constant ache across the low back and down into the replaced hip. Hoping that last one is a muscle.
This week my goals are to drink more water--way more water and avoid as many white things as I can (sugar, pasta, bread, etc).
Gotta keep up one more thing:
Today I am grateful for:
My husband
My job
Blue skies and 70 degree temps
