It has been a whirlwind of things going on again lately. I went home last weekend to visit family. Had a blast but noticed something. I don't tend to eat more--as in quantity per day, but I do tend to eat foods that are less nutritious. Not really a good thing. I did find someone to split my Carbone's pizza sandwich with (YAY!) and I even managed to get in an omelet. But those were the only two real meals, the rest was junk.
I haven't weighed myself this week, I probably should have done that today. I did measure myself again the other night and between my chin and my knees I have lost 11 inches. I even did the cold laser thing. Interesting. Not worth my hard earned money but easy enough and I had an inch difference between walking in and walking out. If anyone wants to try it (in Fargo) let me know. I have an introductory coupon for $99.
Another thing I should do is take pictures again. I had to take the knot out of that pair of shorts last weekend when I was at mom's house so I could tighten them up. I hate the flabby belly look and am hoping that I can tighten that up--the sooner the better!
I have also got to watch the going out to eat. I try to eat healthy and never finish what I order when I do go out. I went with the girls from my old job yesterday and had only a cheeseburger. Ate all but the last bite or two. I keep trying though. The thing that has probably been the most help has been cutting out white stuff. Pasta, bread, flour etc. Now don't get me wrong I haven't gotten rid of it all together, just cut way back. I hardly ever eat bread anymore unless it is on a sub, rarely eat pasta unless it's in a casserole, and try, sometimes desperately, to stay away from baked goods and crackers.
