It has been 17 days since I got hurt and 13 days since I came home. I don't have as much pain as I did last week and I am only taking Aleve now and then. I also don't sleep as often as I did those first few days. I have never been so bored in all my life!
I have been trying to keep busy as much as possible. Thankfully Rylee's dance team has gotten underway and I actually have things to do every now and then. I got all my thank you cards written and I am getting better at games on the computer.
This is not doing my diet any favors though. I have cut my caloric intake way back because I am simply not moving. I am still eating 3 meals a day-and healthy ones- but they are smaller portions and no snacks. I originally lost a few pounds when I was in the hospital, but I think it is coming back. I can't wait to be mobile!
Jim went out and bought the whole family gym memberships this week. I know, I'm home bound. You're thinking why would he get one for me? It was cheaper to get it now when there was no sign up fee and pay for it not to be used than it would be to buy it later and pay the startup fee. I can't wait to go with the girls and walk a treadmill (I am going to have to start slow). But it might help with therapy later!
I hate that the diet seems to be on hold but than my whole life is on hold. This experience has made me extremely thankful for the people in my life. My family and friends are amazing! I have so many more blessings in my life than I was aware of. I hope that I never, ever take them for granted.
I will check in later! Love ya!
