Here's the latest:

I got a call from Sanford on Tues afternoon telling me that the grievance board is in the process of transposing a letter telling me what the findings are.  She let on that the board is leaning in my favor and would be reimbursing me for clinic fees and all of my medical bills regarding this issue from here on out.  However, we don't see that money. It all goes back to the insurance companies.  She recommended that I call the legal department and file a claim to see if I could get reimbursed for my lost wages.  So I did.  I called.  They asked me to write a letter.  I sent it to them last night.  It was way too long and I kept crying while trying to write it but I got through it.  Now I wait to see if they deem me worthy enough for a claim, I guess.

On another note, Tues morning Dr Fetner's office called and asked if they could change my appointment from Thurs afternoon to Tues afternoon.  Of course!  I went in and we worked out surgery on the 22nd.  It is set in stone.  They will call me tomorrow with what time I need to be there on Monday.  He has me written out of work until the 5th of January.  I can't wait for this to be all over.

Today is my moms birthday.  She turned 78.  Usually this is the weekend I would go get her for Christmas.  I'm a little melancholy about the whole thing.  I called her and talked to her for over an hour.  I hope she remembers that I called.  She wants me to come visit her.  I will as soon as I am able.

4 days and counting!

  1. You are a good daughter. Me, not so much. I am so glad your surgery is getting moved up. I hope you get your lost wages. That would be awesome.
