Week at a glance

I went back to work!!!!  I worked till 1:00 on both Mon and Tues and then bumped into full days and made it!! 

Erin was here until Tues afternoon and I got to see her off at the airport.  I watched her until I couldn't see her anymore and thought that's weird, I never saw which way she went to her gate.  Oh well.  Off I go.  Well here, security had pulled her aside and confiscated her key chain which had a Swiss army type tool on it.  She flew to CA and then back to CT and then to ND and no one else caught it.  Gotta love the TSA.  I enjoyed my time with her and it was nice to have the whole family together. 

Thurs I went to the doctor to have my staples out.  This doctor took them out so nicely.  It hardly hurt at all.  (I despise staples)  then he gave me a clean bill of health, told me my feet would stop swelling soon and that people who have had the surgery that I had rarely, if ever, have another occurrence.  YEAH!!

Today was the NDSU Bison football championship game in Frisco, TX.  We were invited to a friends house for a party. I was reluctant but glad I went.  I did have to put my feet up for a bit but enjoyed laughing and being social again.  It doesn't hurt that the Bison won in the last 40 seconds of the game either!!  I even had a couple of drinks.  =^o

Tonight I am sitting with my dog, feet up on a pillow and watching tv.  Jim wanted to go to a Force hockey game, but I just don't have it in me.  In a few weeks, maybe I can do a full day of running.  For now I will take it slow.  Besides my shoes barely went back on when we left Mark and Lori's so I knew I was done.
